Empower people from cultural minorities specifically those of African descent.

Break down stereotypes and build bridges between diverse communities by highlighting and sharing cultural commonalities.

Encourage the bridging of generational and cultural gaps within families, community and organizations.

 
 

To build on shared visions with other African organizations in strengthening the African community in the Waterloo Region by building “a strong and confident African community”. (African Canadian Association of Waterloo and Region)

Stimulate discussion around issues of African/Canadian identity and the development of our African Canadian identity.

To highlight the successes, positive values and the beauty of Africa and its various cultures, as well as outlining the richness common to all African cultures.
