Where did the BOTS logo come from?

“Humanity's gifts grow and bloom in a garden of diversity” is an art work created by Zimbabwean Graphic Designer, Chaz Maviyane Davies.

He created a series of art work called “Creative Defiance” in reference to politics of the time and expressed visually the heart break, and experience of many Zimbabweans. He since left and is a lecturer in the US.

10 years ago we sent an email asking if we could use his image as our logo, as the quote speaks to the heart of our celebrations. He said yes. The first t-shirts were printed on white with the original colours but the logo has evolved since then..
